Melodyne in Logic Pro Melody changing loop

Hi Future Producers! Im new to making beats and I seen an interesting video on youtube using Waves Tune Plugin to determine the key the loop is played in and to chop it and rearange and re pitch the loop to give it that real personal feel.

And I just started using Melodyne and my buddy told me melodyne can do the same thing as done in this video? Is that true? Its my first post so I cant post the link But If you want to see what Im talking about the video title on youtube is called "Tutorial: Easily changing the melody of a loop to fit your song or key scale"

Hey guys, I am new here in the music industry and I have a question that I'm not really sure of...:hmmm:

I'm thinking of sampling the voice of Peter from Family Guy, and just put it at the beginning of my track (only 3 seconds long)

So when I finish the track, can I export it to Itunes/spotify and make money from it or can I get sued for this type of thing?

How about distorting the sound? (use flanger, or whatever) if I have changed the sound, will I still be able to make money from it without complications?

Now Im not saying im gonna make huge $$$ from songs like these, but I wonder just in case....

Is there any guide out there on what you can sample and what you cannot sample? :hmmm:
