Can i take ANY bassline from a song and use it with a loop

Lets say that im working on a beat where i have a loop, i filter out the lows.

I find a song and i love the bassline and i loop the bassline and filter out the highs.

How can i make it fit into my loop or chops ?

What about the key. Can i just pitch the bass sample.
