I want to start producing some Synthpop/Electropop/Dreampop, reminiscent of the tropical sound of the 80's
Since most of that sound came from analogue devices, I would like to ask this forum what devices (synths and drum machines) are most iconic for producing this sound, so then I can scavenge the internet for samples of such.
Or VST plugins would be nice too.
All of my DAW's aren't even close to getting me close to that vintage sounds
So far I only have samples from a Jupiter 8V2 and a Roland 808, and a Simmons SDS-5 (I'm still trying to find that 80's tom break/fill sound)
Any instrument would be helpful (Bass, Leads, Pads, Drums)
