Trigger samples and drums at the same time?

Hey guys,

So I'm an MPK mini user with Ableton Live and I want to know how I can set up samples to trigger from the SAME pads that play the
drum rack sounds. This video demonstrates what I want to be able to do: Live hip-hop on AKAI MPK mini - YouTube

I know how to chop up samples and trigger them using the pads but I can't seem to figure out how to make the beat at the same time.
If someone could help me out, it would save me tons of time because as of now, I do everything separately and it takes away
from the workflow. Thanks in advance.
