Audio sample stops playing about a minute after importing. Any advice?

I created a couple .wav files in a sound recorder in my phone. I have no trouble importing them or playing them on my computer but after a minute or two of editing them in ableton they randomly stop playing any audio.

This happens when i'm just cutting and pasting so its not like I am accentedly muting it or anything. And my cpu level never jumps above 50% so its not like I am overloading ableton.

I can still see the audio clip it, it looks perfectly normal, it just doesn't play any sound.

Has anyone encountered anything like this before?
