Maschine + Ableton sample workflow?

Do you guys do all your chopping flipping stretching in maschine, and THEN arrange in another DAW?

I'm trying to figure out warping samples and if its worth it to get through this in Ableton, or if i should just stick to what I do in Maschine.
Any advantages of warping and pitching, etc in Ableton vs Maschine when chopping samples?
I definitely prefer the maschine controller for slicing over mouse clicks in the DAW...Any help appreciated!!:D
